What have you been up to lately?

I know I’m going to post my playlist tomorrow…
but I have to share with you something I found a few days ago.

A guy named Alex messaged me on Last.fm,

saying that he’s a big fan of Motion City Soundtrack 

and that he recently started a band called The Crowns.

And he asked me if I could listen to their songs, if I also like MCS.

Well, he was right, I like that band.

So I gave them a chance and listened to their songs on their website.

And I must say they’re quite good.

They also made a video for the song named “Yeeeaaahhh” and one for “Let It Go”;

Here’s a little about them…

The Crowns are a fully independent band from the heart of Amsterdam with a curious love for Converse and skinny jeans. The band was founded early in the summer of 2008 in Amsterdam, where a shared passion for music and an environment  rather  conductive  to creativity led Valentine  (vocals), Thomas (guitar) and Alex (keys)  to record a demo.
